《FLIGHT REVIEW: Singapore Airlines Regional Economy Class A330-300》
This is the older generation of Singapore Airlines Economy Class seat and can be found on its Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The newer generation of economy class seats can be found on newer aircraft such as the Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A350-900. Singapore Airlines have announced in a press release about its fleet plans to retire its entire fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft. The in flight entertainment screen is of standard size, and there is a wide range of movies and films, from old to new releases. The LCD screen is about 10.6 inch wide. Unlike the newer economy class products, the IFE screen still uses remote controls instead of touch screen. USB Charging pods are also provided. The legroom is also spacious enough, which footrests provided. The seat is very comfortable and reclinable and suitable for regional long haul flights. Lastly, the service and hospitality by the Singapore Airlines flight attendants are also excellent. I will highly recommend flying with Singapore Airlines especially for long haul flights for maximum comfort and service.
This flight was filmed before the covid-19 period. Please avoid non essential air travel during this pandemic. The flight experience was great, and the seat was very comfortable despite it being an older cabin product. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, Singapore Airlines will phrase out the A330-300 and Boeing 777-200 as part of its fleet plans, and this older cabin product will also be removed from its fleet.
